Remotin.io Terms of Service

Introduction
This Terms of Service agreement ("Agreement"), along with our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance Statement, governs the relationship between you and ALVENTURES Artur Listwan ("Provider", "Remotin.io", "we"), registered at ul. Gen. Józefa Wybickiego 11, 51-144 Wrocław, Poland, Registration number: 932257826.
By accessing or using Remotin.io's Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you're entering into this Agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms. In such cases, "you" and "your" will refer to that entity.
This Terms of Service agreement should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy which is available on our website at privacy policy.
1. Understanding Our Service
1.1 Core Definitions
- Certain terms are used in this Agreement with specific meanings:
- "Service": The time tracking and team management solution we provide through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
- "Customer": The legal entity purchasing and using our Service.
- "User": Any individual authorized by the Customer to access and use the Service.
- "Account": A unique access point to the Service, secured by personalized login credentials.
1.2 Service description
Remotin.io provides a web-based solution for managing remote work, including tools for time tracking, project management, and team collaboration. Internet connectivity and compatible web browsers are required to access the Service.
2. Payment and Subscription Terms
2.1 Subscription Models
We offer:
- A time-limited trial period of 14 days with access to core features.
- Paid subscriptions that begin upon upgrading and continue until terminated under this Agreement.

2.2 Billing and Payment
All payments are processed in USD through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle. Invoices are delivered electronically. We provide detailed VAT invoices for all payments. Any payment disputes must be reported within 30 days of the invoice date. Service fees are exclusive of all taxes, which are your responsibility.
2.3 Payment Obligations and Refunds
Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated or required by applicable law. We strongly encourage users to utilize the 14-day free trial period to fully evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription. Late payments may result in suspension of service and additional fees.
2.4 Refunds and Disputes
Refund Policy.
Refunds may be considered in cases of:
- Technical issues preventing service access for more than 24 consecutive hours
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Service cancellation within 24 hours of first payment (excluding renewals)
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge date.Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Billing Disputes.
Billing disputes must be reported within 30 days of the disputed charge. All disputes must be submitted in writing to support@remotin.io and include relevant transaction details and reasons for dispute. We will respond to dispute claims within 5 business days. During dispute resolution, service access will remain active if account is otherwise in good standing
Payment Issues
Failed payments will trigger an automatic retry after 3 business days. You will be notified of payment failures via email. Three consecutive failed payment attempts may result in account suspension.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service access for accounts with outstanding balances over 14 days past due. Account reactivation may require payment of all outstanding balances and applicable reactivation fees.
3. Data Protection and Privacy
3.1 Data Processing Commitment
We process personal data in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws. Data is protected with industry-standard security measures.
3.2 Data Ownership and Control
You retain full ownership of all data entered into the Service. We act as a data processor, handling your data solely for providing and improving our Service.
3.3 Data Security
We use encryption, secure storage, and regular audits to protect your data. Customers are responsible for managing their organization's access controls and securing their login credentials.
While we maintain robust security measures, you are responsible for:
- Securing access to your account
- Managing user permissions
- Reporting security concerns promptly
- Ensuring proper logout on shared devices
3.4 GDPR Compliance and Data Subject Rights
In compliance with GDPR, we ensure:
- "Right to Access": You can request access to personal data.
- "Right to Rectification": You can request corrections to inaccurate data.
- "Right to Erasure": Data can be deleted upon request under certain conditions.
- "Right to Restrict Processing": You can limit processing in specific situations.

3.5 Data Breach Notification

Customers must provide accurate information, safeguard account credentials, and ensure compliance with laws and these Terms.
4.2 Prohibited Activities
Prohibited activities include unauthorized access, malicious content uploads, or interference with the Service.
5. Termination and Service Discontinuation
5.1 Customer-Initiated Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@remotin.io.
5.2 Provider-Initiated Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for overdue payments, violations, or harmful behavior or if bad faith usage is detected.
5.3 Post-Termination Data Access
You have 90 days to export your data after termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Service Warranty
The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for interruptions but will address issues promptly.
6.2 Scope of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages. We won't be responsible for delays or failures to perform our obligations if they're caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or internet outages. If such an event occurs, we'll try to minimize its impact. If the event lasts for a significant period, we may need to suspend or terminate the service with reasonable notice.
7. Changes and Communications
7.1 Terms Updates
We may update these Terms with 21 days advance notice. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website.
